He was able to quickly diagnose severe arthritis with complete degeneration of the joint to bone on bone. I was scheduled for total hip replacement in the time frame I needed. Everything was very well explained, the day of surgery his team explained the process and I was up walking by 3 in the afternoon. Dr. Hickman visited with me twice to answer questions and explain how the surgery went and what I could expect. Within 5 days the pre-surgery hip pain was gone and I had mild discomfort from the surgery. Just under 6 months my hip is like new and back pain on that side is gone. Dr. Hickman was very personable, provided excellent care and made what was a major decision an excellent outcome.
